• Progressive-Style 2-Step refers to the QQSS style of two-step (i.e. starting on the "quick" step) most commonly seen in the US, but not generally practiced in LGBT clubs in California.
• SF-Style 2-Step refers to the SSQQ style of two-step (i.e. starting on the "slow" step) more common in the western US, incorporating moves that have a swing feel to them. Visitors accustomed to the QQSS or "progressive" style of two-step are especially encouraged to learn this style for easier mingling with the natives.

• Brunch. We offer a fabulous buffet brunch feast of eggs, breakfast meats, french toast, fruit, coffee and tea, and all the usual breakfast fixin's. You must reserve in advance - $20 including tax/service.
• Progressive and SF-Style 2-Step - see Friday's notes
• East Coast Swing can have a triple-step, double-step, or single-step beat. Single-step is used with the fast style of ECS dancing commonly seen in San Francisco, while triple-step is more standard. Workshop are triple-step unless otherwise indicated.
• Intermediate Turn Techniques teaches the fundamentals for successful turns for both leaders and followers. Learn to spot, stay on center, and maintain the rhythm.
• Intermediate Lead-Follow Techniques focuses on leader and follower interactions: how a leader signals, how a follower interprets those signals, and how both work in partnership.
