Parking and Transit

PARKING

Event parking at the Golden Gateway Holiday Inn (1500 Van Ness Ave.) is $14 with no in-and-out or overnight. For registered guests parking is $32 per day with in-and-out and overnight privileges.

Street parking in the area is limited. During the day (except Sunday) street parking is limited to 1 or 2 hours. You cannot continue to feed meters beyond this time limit, no matter how many quarters you use.

Parking at the hotel's garage may fill quickly. Alternate parking garages in the area include:

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

The Golden Gateway Holiday Inn (1500 Van Ness) and Regency Center (1300 Van Ness) are served by multiple MUNI bus lines. Fare is $1.50 for unlimited rides within 90 minutes.

From the Van Ness MUNI Metro Station (Van Ness & Market): take MUNI bus #47 or #49 northbound

From the Civic Center MUNI/BART Station (8th & Market): take MUNI bus #19 northbound

From the Montgomery MUNI/BART Station (Sutter & Market): take MUNI bus #2 or #3 westbound

From the Embarcadero MUNI/BART Station (Main & Market): take the California Street Cable Car, or MUNI bus #1
